A symbolic journey into growth, duality & self‑discovery
Silverlines marks the beginning of a new chapter for Damiano David - one where vulnerability replaces bravado, and theatricality gives way to reflection. To accompany this debut, in collaboration with Partizan US we produced a visual piece that mirrors the emotional and stylistic pivot at the heart of the song: from frontman to introspective narrator, from spotlight to shadow.
Shot between several locations and built sets, the music video embraces contrast - soft vs sharp, slow vs sudden - echoing the song’s theme of searching for “silver lines” of hope and clarity in personal chaos. Through symbolic frames, abstract sequences, and performative stillness, the film paints a portrait of emotional exile and quiet return.
The visual world here is restrained but loaded. Damiano walks alone through twilight corridors, half-lit rooms, and surreal spaces, echoing his own words:
“I wanted to show my more human, more fragile side… not the one that’s just loud and confident.”
This isn’t Måneskin’s explosive energy - it’s a cinematic whisper from the quieter half of the same artist.
Collaborating closely with Nono+Rodrigo and Albert Salas, we aimed to channel his blank-page approach to the solo project - visually sketching a kind of origin myth: one man, one voice, and the risk of starting over.
